Choose your product in Central
On your Windows PC, sign in to central.bitdefender.com. Select Install Bitdefender Products, then Install in the Security panel.
Save a fresh installer
Choose Download and save the installation file. Open the newly downloaded bitdefender_windows file rather than an old copy saved from a previous installation.
Run the installation
Approve the Windows permission prompt for the genuine installer. Allow it to prepare the package, choose the available language if required, and read the subscription agreement before continuing.
Finish the setup
Wait for installation to complete. Follow the offered device-assessment step or skip it if you prefer, then finish and open the app. Check the subscription details displayed.

If the Windows installer does not open
Check administrator access, pending Windows updates and conflicts with another security product. Follow the official troubleshooting guide for removal or repair steps appropriate to your case; restart where instructed and obtain a fresh installer from Central.
Avoid outdated installation files
Bitdefender documents Windows blocks caused by old installation kits. Use a newly downloaded package from Central rather than bypassing the Windows warning or using a third-party download mirror.
